About Me
My name is Jeff Zimmerlin. I'm a 24 year old with a wide-range of experience in local TV news, a love of technology, and aspirations of building web applications for a living.
I'm currently working as an Associate Producer at KFMB-TV, the CBS station in San Diego. As an AP, I write news stories on a daily basis, and produce on a fill-in basis.
Outside of work, I'm also aggressively trying to build up my own company, called Rundown Creator. Rundown Creator is a web application for planning television, radio, and internet shows, similar to the AP's ENPS and Avid's iNews.
Prior to this, I attended San Diego State University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Television, Film, and New Media Production.
I've also worked as a technician at KNSD-TV, interned at Revision3, and worked as a television newscast director at KSBY-TV.
