For two weeks, my body temperature remained high as I suffered from generally unpleasant flu-like symptoms. It began last week on Monday night as I suddenly fell ill at work. The next day, things had worsened. Just overnight, I had developed a fever with headaches, lightheadedness, coughing, a sore throat, and the chills.
